新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）の危険が今なお残る中、オフィスの再開への取り組みでは、ワクチンの追跡システムや管理ツールのほか、デジタル版のヘルスパスポートとともに、プライバシーやコンプライアンスに関する数多くのリスクを考慮する必要があるはずだという。Forrester Researchが最近のレポートで伝えた。
このレポートでは、企業や組織がオフィスの再開に先立って検討する必要のある重要な問題が概説されている。COVID-19のワクチン管理が今日における鍵となっている一方、そのアプリケーションは今後、従業員のワクチン接種の追跡に向けて軸足を移していく可能性がある。
ワクチン管理は企業ソフトウェアの分野で最も熱い話題の1つになっているものの、集団免疫が達成された暁には、変化を余儀なくされるだろう。この種のスイートはワクチンの配布やスケジューリング、接種に焦点を当てている一方、ゆくゆくはワークフォース管理という役割を担うようになるはずだ。ここで、ServiceNowとSalesforceが競っている以下の点に目を向けてみよう。
両社のロードマップが今後、どういったかたちで状況に対応していくのかは明らかでないものの、それぞれのプラットフォームはコンプライアンスやプライバシー、パスポート管理に向けたツールを搭載する必要に迫られるはずだ。筆者はワクチン管理を新しいカテゴリーと捉え、短期的なソフトウェアではなく、新たな形式で今後も長期間利用されるソフトウェアになっていくと考えている。
ワクチン管理ソフトウェアがいつ変化していく必要に迫られるのかは明らかでないが、その際にはパスポート管理が含まれるようになるはずだ。ワクチン接種のペースは供給や配布の状況、変異株の発生、ワクチン接種に対する個人の心情によって変わってくる。ただ確実に言えるのは、多くの企業や国が、入館／入国の際にCOVID-19のワクチン接種証明を求めるようになるということだ。
Forresterのレポートでは、オフィスでの作業の再開に向けた取り組みで重要となるいくつかの点が挙げられている。同社は企業に対して、オフィス再開の計画で慎重を期すとともに、デジタル版のワクチンパスポートや抗体パスポートを利用する取り組みを進めるよう推奨している。
